Should the helpers be reinstated??
I have noticed quite recently that Comex/Xana has not added any more admins. That is probably due to the lack of confidence he has with them. Many of you may not remember or were not an active member when the helpers were a group you could be. They were the rank below moderator and were taken away due to problems and complaints. So I thought: "Is it time to pull the helpers back out?" I would like to point out that there are very good reasons for both sides.
The YES side:
1. Since there aren’t any admins, there needs to be a lower position of power than mod.
2. The problem with the helpers last time is they abused their powers and were taken out because they were the exact same as mods. This time, we can limit their powers to warning and locking.
The NO side:
1. We had problems with them before; why let them in now?
2. All they will do is abuse their powers and cause cause more members to quit.
Now you decide which is smarter … which is not. Submit your thought to me (odd_Sam) at oddsam91@gmail.com so we can put your input in the next issue of the paper

Should the old monster cards be fixed? The For some reason this is getting nl2br'ed, so I have to behave as if this was all on one line. Kankrelat, Hornet, Krabe, and Megatank all say the same thing, "100 Attack, 100 power". Well, This author is still new to dueling, and won two duels because he thought it took 100 LP per hit, but he was sadly mistaken. It only takes 10LP per hit. So, what's the reason for this? Why would they put in 100 Attack if it only subtracts 10LP? I'd be willing to bet anybody who's ever been a newbie would make the same mistake. I vote we re-make the card listed above.

Lackey CCG is an online table to play ANY card game you want. This is because it is open source (like Linux) so it can play Yu-Gi-Oh, then switch to Magic, then to Pokemon.
In fact, Code: Lyoko TCG has it's own plugin.
If you would like to download Lackey (I suggest that you use DSL, dial up isn’t a good idea) go to http://www.lackeyccg.com/downloads.html and select the version you would like to use. The Alpha version is constantly updating due to it being the test version. It has bugs, but cooler features. If you want the BETA version it is stable, so it doesn’t have bugs but isn’t up to date. Lackey CCG works on Mac and Windows soon to be Linux.
Once you have downloaded Lackey you then need to download the plugin. Start Lackey and click on the Preference tab. Then click on update in the update text bar type http://lackey.cltcg.com and click update. Once again if you have DSL this will not be a problem, but if you have dial up you will be in for a rough ride. Once you have downloaded the plugin click on Browse and find and choose the CLTCG plugin. You will need to "x" out (close) lackey in order for the plugin to take effect. Lackey is a very interesting way to duel since it works in real time.
I suggest every one to download this plugin. Just a few people that have lackey are:
Xana/Comex
Odd-8-Out
and me (Odd_Sam)
good luck and keep dueling

Its on the horizon, its getting ever closer, and soon, it will be here. What is it? Season 3's Card Set! The battle this week has begun to rage as three card creators are beginning to stand out among the crowd, their sets holding favorable sway. The creators have been working hard for the sought-after position, and the field is as diverse as it's been in a long while.
Season 3 seems to be centered around a various few cards, most of all, sets involving William, Aelita's Energy Field, and Code: XANA. Aside from those cards, however, the sets get more diverse with each creator, fitting styles with his or her unique view. To get a better idea of exactly of what those styles are, we took the initiative to include a short profile of each creator and see exactly what was going on inside their heads, and their threads.
First is the obvious favorite, Odd8Out. His seniority has people thinking his cards will appear first. Odd8Out, otherwise known as O8O, has been the creator of three very successful "XANA vs Jeremie" sets, and so his card making is hardly brought into question. He introduces his Season 3 Set as "XANA vs Jeremie Part 4" and it seems that, like the set before it, this one may go through with little challenge to it.
The next of our esteemed creators is a new kid, brought on the wings of Justin whom we all should know. Digital-Chado is in the process of getting his first set up foroapproval. A deeper interview brought up that he tried a set not too long ago, which was shot down. Some of those cards have been integrated into his Season 3 Set. The underdog looks promising, but his lack of experience may be his downfall...that, and the fact that he fails to get a decent text to use on his cards, despite many attempts.
The final of the creators is Blackcat124gt, who has been hit with a wall of criticism. You almost want to scoop up the poor kitty and comfort her, as a number of insults have been thrown her way. Regardless, the cards keep coming, and seem to be on the upswing, getting slowly better. Who knows, perhaps this set will beat the other two, which are currently being favored.
After meeting with each of our esteemed creators, we met with those who criticise them, and those who posted in their topics. The interviews were asked to be witheld from this article, so we'll share a few of their comments from the topics themselves.
Narro87 and Xana both dropped in on Chado's thread, giving words of encouragement, along with a few personal preferences on his choice of text. Narro claims "the original design was [best]" in relation to the text, and Xana recomends "Verdana or Advocut, or some other text with a lower case." Aside from his text issue, which is to say that the text is always blurred or pixelated, Digital-Chado's cards seem to be only a step away from winning the grueling race.
Meanwhile, the other two candidates were not met so favorably. Immediately, O8O's opening statement, calling Chado to some competition, was taken as a childish reason to create a card set, so says Narro87, who, as per his words, has yet to make a formal review of the set.
Blackcat too was assaulted with insults. It seemed as if Paint just failed to create the templates to please the judges, and it seems as if they just won't let her overcome that hurdle. Aside from that, many of the card judges claim her effects to be too confusing, or overpowered.
Regardless, the race trudges on...who will win? Only time will tell...
